fond remembrance

my memories of john go back 30/40 years. our association and freindship was very close almost to the point we could be "called" brothers. john, blanche, emily and i enjoyed many winter vacations in boca raton and we as a couple, were blessed with their freindship and companionship for many years. there are so many stories about john that i could write a book about them. he had an extremely interesting and captivating persnality, and was extremely generous and charitable especialy to the GWARC foundation which he founded. His companionship was enjoyed by so many of his family and friends. Our relatonship included many holiday events spent with his lovely family especially during the christmas season.

i worked with john for over a year his office and got personally involved with him in political activities. he was personally responsible for my appointment to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Emergency Finance Board whick i served for 9 years. The appointment was obtained for me thur his influence with his dear and close friend Gov. Michael Dukakis .
