Obituary for Mark Prescott

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning February 5th, 2011 at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge at the age of 55.

Born in Waltham on November 28, 1955, beloved son of Jeannette (Belliveau) Prescott of Waltham and the late William Prescott, Mark was a lifelong resident.

A graduate of Waltham Vocational High School with the Class of 1974, Mark was employed with Stone Auto Body Supply of Watertown and formerly employed with Frost Motors of Newton.

In his spare time he was true handyman around the house, and enjoyed carpentry and refinishing antiques.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Alison J. (MacPherson) Prescott, his devoted sons Jesse W. Prescott and Justin J. Prescott both of Waltham, his dear siblings Wayne Prescott and Glenn Prescott both of Waltham, Carol Prescott of Watertown and Linda Doiron of Ashland. In addition he is survived by many nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Mark’s Life at the Trinity Church, (formerly First Congregational Church), 730 Main Street, Waltham on Wednesday morning Feb. 9th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM, on Tuesday Feb. 8th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.

Flowers are appreciated or expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
