Adrian Malcolm Campbell, Sr.
Of Waltham, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 4, 2017, at the Stanley R. Tippet House, after a brief illness. He was 77.
Born and raised in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada, to the late Gervase and Mary (MacCormack) Campbell, he moved to Newton Corner in the 1963 and settled in Waltham in 1978 where he has been a resident ever since.
Adrian served in the Canadian Navy from 1959 until 1963.
He worked as a machinist for many years at the Waltham Grinding Wheel.
In his spare time, Adrian enjoyed playing horseshoes, coaching baseball, and sitting on his porch and having a cold beer with his longtime friend, the late Roy Grant.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Marie (Pelligrini) Campbell, his devoted children Adrian Campbell, Jr. of Waltham, James Campbell of Waltham, and Victoria DeLosa and her husband Eric of Framingham, his siblings Robert Campbell of Lowell, Lois McKenzie of Laconia, NH, Barbara Brock of Nashua, NH, Ralph Campbell and his wife Dorothy of New Victoria, Nova Scotia, and Morie Campbell of Illinois, and his cherished grandchildren Ashley, Margaret, Aria, and Braelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Irene Bort, and Colin Campbell.
