Robert J. "Bob"  Dusza
Of Waltham, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Newton Wellesley Hospital on September 7, 2017 at the age of 83.

He was born on December 27, 1933 in Worcester, MA to Franciszek and Rose (Tytula) Dusza.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice (Fleming) Dusza, Son, Robert J. Dusza Jr. and wife Lori of Manchester, CT. Daughters, Maryann Lavallee and husband John of Northborough, MA; Jennifer Engledow and husband David of Jarrell, TX, Francine Shirley and husband Dr. Bret Shirley of San Diego, CA and his sister Helen Rhodes and husband George of Quinnebaug, CT, Grandchildren - Robert J. Dusza, III of New London, CT and James Dusza of Manchester, CT. Rachel D'Angelo and husband Anthony of Leominster, MA. Patrick Lavallee and wife Nicole of Rutland, MA; Jessy, Christopher and Corey Engledow all of Jarrell, TX, Great Grandchildren Madison and Emelia Lavallee of Rutland, MA. and Jack D'Angelo of Leominster, MA.
And dear friends Bill and Evelyn Grovesteen of Dudley, MA.

He is predeceased in death by his parents, Franciszek and Rose (Tytula) Dusza of Southbridge, MA and his brother Francis Dusza and wife Rachel of Holland, MA.

He was in the Air Force for and served in the Korean War. As an avid fly fisherman, his favorite place to catch a big one, was at the Ausable River in Lake Placid, NY.

He was employed for many years at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory in Livermore, CA; American Optical in Southbridge, MA and he retired as a research designer from Russell Harrington Company Southbridge, MA in the year 2000.

His great joy was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with family during the Holidays and on special occasions. This is where he received the most joy of his life.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Robert's Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday morning Sept. 12th at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Interment with United States Air Force Military Honors will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Bob's memory to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham, MA 02453.
