Of Waltham passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 95.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late George, and Lucy (DeFina) Cappadona, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham.
Mary will be remembered as loving mother and grandmother who put family above all else, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and doing crafts, and feeding people with her home cooking.
She was the beloved wife of the late of the late Angelo Santolucito, devoted mother of the late Sandra Kahn, and sister of the late Thomas, George, and Benny Cappadona, and Marion Mesite.
She is survived by her loving children Joseph Santolucito and his wife Nancy (Bourque) of Billerica, and Thomas Santolucito and his wife Gisele (LeBlanc) of Waltham. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday, May 23, at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Mary's life at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 - 5 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
