Of Wayland and Boulder, CO, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He was 30.
Born in Cambridge and raised in Wayland by his loving parents Susan Maleno Greenleaf of Belmont and David Greenleaf of Arlington, Jonathan settled. Boulder, CO 8 years ago, before just recently moving to Belmont.
Jonathan made Boulder his home. He owned and operated a small business where he worked as a finish carpenter. If you hired him, you weren't just a client you became his friend. He was a thriving member of the community.
He loved the mountains of Boulder and enjoyed being outdoors. He was known for doing his back flips off of cliffs. He will be remembered as an organizer of events, whether it be weekend boat trip, bringing a group to a concert, or throwing a party. Jonathan was a people person, and his love for life attracted many people to him. He will be missed dearly by many loving friends.
Besides his parents Jonathan is survived by his loving sister Greta Greenleaf of Burlington, his twin sister Sarah Greenleaf of Belmont, his dear Aunt Sally Maleno of Eerie, PA, and his aunt and godmother Mary Locquaniti of Doylestown, PA. He is also survived by 3 uncles, many cousins, and countless friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass in celebration of Jonathan's life at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Rd., Waltham, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12 noon.
