Michelle: Moving forward to better days was how she did life

Michelle and I both wanted to be the best women we could be. I was honored that she asked me to walk with her on a mission to do just that.

We spent many hours at my kitchen table, drinking tea and eating healthier snacks and working on inner stuff. She put being a full on mother to her Jose at the top of her list. She was consistent in wanting to be more, do more and have her son be cared for by her in a full way. She spoke of the love of her family so very often... her parents were so important... her brothers and sisters, too. She was such a fan of all of them.

I admired the way she faced her responsibilities and her past mis-steps and cleaned things up.... one by one by one. She was focused on being the best Michelle she could be. She was amazing and beautiful and fun and special and gone way too soon.

She loved God and Jesus.... she loved her boy.... she loved her family.... she loved her friends... and she loved her cat.

I have been crying for days.... I will miss her so. I KNOW SHE IS FINE AND SAFE NOW. That brings me comfort. May those of us who knew her and loved her never, ever forget.
