Obituary for Annie Thompson

Of Quincy formerly of Waltham passed away unexpectedly, November 3, 2014, at the Quincy Medical Center. She was 97.

Born and raised in South Boston to the late Gaspar and Maria (D'Amicis) Lentini, she moved to Waltham as young woman and was a resident until moving to Quincy several years ago.

In her spare time Annie enjoyed dancing and round dancing. She was a seamstress and sewed a lot of her own clothing. She was an excellent cook, and adored her niece's two cats and dog.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Thompson and sister of the late Louis, Joseph, Dominic, and Angelina Lentini, and the late Josephine Copello.

She is survived by her loving sisters Mary DeCristofaro of Bourne, and Frances Noto of South Boston. She is also survived by her many cherished Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces, and Grand Nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Annie's life in the Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
