Obituary for Joseph James "Joey Tips" McBride

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly early Monday afternoon March 17th, 2014 at the age of 42.

Born on January 15, 1972 in Waltham; beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary (Mannion) McBride, Joe was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

A graduate of Waltham High School, Joey worked as a Bartender at Costello's, Bullet's, The Mad Raven and several other area bars throughout his life.

Joey was a outgoing and fun loving guy who truly enjoyed meeting people. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, and was a passionate Boston Red Sox Fan. He loved spending time with family and friends, and was especially proud of his Irish heritage.

He is survived by his loving & devoted cousins.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Monday morning March 24th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Sunday March 23rd from 2 - 6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
