Of Waltham, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, early Thursday morning, March 6, 2014 at her home. She was 73.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late Antonio and Elizabeth (Donahue) Puliafico, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham.
Mary worked as a florist for many years at Shaw's Supermarket in Waltham where she was very popular among customers.
In her spare time, Mary enjoyed gardening, being with her family and many friends, her cat Charcoal and most of all spending time with her cherished granddaughter Madison Mary Lewis.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years Dominic Caira, her devoted daughters Rhonda Caira and her husband Francis Donovan of Dedham, and Brenda Lewis and her husband Glenn of Waltham, and her brother John Puliafico and his wife MaryEllen of Somerville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Phil Puliafico and the aunt of the late John Puliafico Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Mary's Life at Saint Mary's Church, 145 School St. at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
