Of Belmont, passed away peacefully Saturday morning July 29, 2017 with her loving family by her side in her residence at the age of 81.
Born on June 2, 1936 in Arlington; daughter of the late Frank J. Macolini and Helen J. (Gentile) Macolini, Mary Ellen was a lifelong resident of Belmont.
Mary Ellen attended Belmont Schools and Bentley School of Accounting. She was employed as an Accountant with Locatelli Realty in Belmont for over 40 years.
Spending time with her family especially her grandchildren was most important to her. She enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, playing bingo and traveling to the casino.
Mary Ellen is survived by her loving sons Robert A. Davis Jr. and his wife Ella of Baton Rouge, LA and Stephen F. Davis and his wife Kathi of Denham Springs, LA, her granddaughter for whom she was a mother like figure and raised Amie, her cherished grandchildren Ashley, Jennifer, Joshua, Alex, Zac and a grandmother like figure to Mindy, her dear brothers Frank Macolini and his wife Ruthann of CO., Rich Macolini and his wife Chris of Raynham, and Mike Macolini and his wife Cindy of Baton Rouge, LA. In addition she is survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Mary Ellen’s Life in the Brasco & Sons Memorial 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Saturday morning Aug. 5th at 12:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
