Of Waltham, passed away peacefully in his home late Tuesday evening June 20th, 2017 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer just two days before his 58th birthday.
Born on June 22, 1959 in Avellaneda, Argentina; the beloved son of Carmela (Raso) Caruso of West Newton and the late Saverio Caruso. Tony immigrated to the United States as a young man in 1975 and had been a resident of Newton for many years before moving to Waltham 19 years ago.
Tony attended Newton North High School, and had worked with his father in the family landscaping business for many years.
He lived life to the fullest; he treasured the time spent with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed his trips to the casino and traveling with his friends and cousins.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Elizabeth (Baulo) Caruso, his devoted children Jessica Caruso and her companion Jose Giovanni, Saverio Caruso and his companion Alysha Eleanor and Gabriel Caruso all of Waltham, his cherished grandchildren Sebastian, Kaitlyn, William and Allen, and his beloved mother Carmela (Raso) Caruso. In addition he is survived by his loving in-laws Candido and Delia Baulo, several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Antonio's Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning June 24th at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Bernard's Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday June 23rd from 3 - 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
