Mrs Anne Rose ( Delaney ) Scott 89,
Of Waltham died Tuesday at Benchmark Senior Living in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Born in Waltham Anne was a Waltham resident all of her life.
Anne graduated from the Waltham High School after which she went to work at the Raytheon Company as an Executive administrative Assistant where she worked until her retirement after 48 years.
She loved spending time with her family, a truly generous person she was a second mother to all of her Nieces and Nephews and Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews which were plentiful, she found great joy in helping all of them and others whom she perceived in need. In addition she enjoyed her trips to Dennis on Cape Cod and was always eager to play cards.
Anne was the daughter of the late Vincent & Marie ( LeBlanc ) Delaney, Sister of the late Ethel Proia, James Delaney & Edgar Delaney, Sister in Law of the late Edward Donlan, and the wife of the late Edward M. Scott.
Anne is survived by her Sisters Mary Donlan of Florida, Diane Sullivan and her husband Francis Sullivan of Medford, her Sister in Law Rose ( Fucci ) Delaney of Medway, also survived by 17 Nieces and Nephews and many Grand Nieces & Nephews.
Services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham with a Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration and Thanksgiving for her life at Saint Jude's Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 5- 8 p.m.
