Condolences

Condolence From: Claire Palmer
Condolence: Gloria was a valued member of our parish community and of her close circle of friends who attended the 4PM Mass at St. Bernard's Church. We will miss Gloria greatly not only at our parish events but at our Saturday night dinners, my summer pizza party and Christmas dinner. Gloria was a kind and gentle woman who was an inspiration to us. She showed us how to live our lives well by caring for others. Good bye good friend I will miss you always.

Condolence: I have lost a dear friend and she will be sorely missed. Gloria was always willing to help anyone who asked her. She could never refuse. She may have been small but she had a big heart. She used to pick me up for Mass on Saturday afternoons. However, when I was unable to attend, she used to bring me back a church bulletin and a copy of The Pilot. She was always thinking of others. She was very dedicated to Julie's Family Learning Program. Whenever the Corpus Christi/St. Bernard Parish planned an activity in support of Julie's, Gloria always participated. On those occasions, she called me to take part as well, inviting me to the church hall for a "cup of coffee." But after our work was done, she always sent me home with a dish of goodies. I will miss my friend tremendously. Condolences to Peter and her nieces and nephews.

Condolence: I count Gloria among my blessings. She was a caring, nurturing friend and a pie taster extraordinaire! An avid champion of South Boston’s Julie’s Family Program, Gloria never missed an opportunity to help Julie’s children and mothers. I miss Gloria’s energy, smile, cheerfulness, and thoughtfulness. My deepest condolences to Peter and Gloria’s nieces and nephews about whom she spoke with great pride. Rose Yesu
