Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Sunday evening January 15th, 2017 with his loving wife by his side in his residence at the age of 72.

Born on June 17, 1944 in Puerto Rico; son of the late Felix Santa and Concepcion Zayas, Herminio has been a Waltham resident for the past 35 years.

Herminio was employed by Copolla Landscaping for many years.

He had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh. In his spare time he had a love for baseball.

He is survived by his beloved wife Luz Angela Alicea, his loving children Jose Santa of Georgia, Zaida, Sandra, and Jennie Garcia all of Puerto Rico. In addition he is survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 brothers.

A Funeral Service in celebration of Herminio's Life will be held in the First Lutheran Church, 6 Eddy Street, Waltham on Thursday Jan. 19th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday evening Jan. 18th from 7 - 9 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
