Obituary for William Francis "Bill" Lentine

William Francis "Bill" Lentine
of Woburn passed away peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2016 at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65.

Born February 2, 1951, Bill was the loving son of Mary (Martines) Lentine and the late Anthony Lentine. Bill was a beloved husband to his devoted wife Marian (Pizzi) Lentine and loving father to his son and best friend, William A. Lentine and his wife Tina (Nugent) Lentine.

He was also survived by his cherished grandchildren Katelyn and Julia Lentine, Samantha Nugent and great granddaughter Riley all of Woburn.

In addition Bill was survived by his daughter Sandra Lentine and her daughter Courtney Lentine of Woburn, his sister Marge Dunnington and husband Glenn, his brother Anthony Lentine and his wife Joan of Bethesda, Md., as well as many loving in-laws nieces and nephews.

Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter who for the last eight years worked as the Northeast sales rep for Pure Fishing Co. Prior to his job at Pure Fishing Co. Bill owned and operated Lentine Sub Shop on Montavale Ave in Woburn alongside his wife Marian for over 30 years.

His great joy was spending time with his family and many friends. Bill passed down his love for fishing to his son and granddaughters who spent many hours with him enjoying the sport and making cherished memories.

Bill was truly blessed to have a special circle of friends that were caring and supportive during his illness.
