Condolence From: Michael Comeau

Condolence: Sister Hermine was the first person I met when I began my career in nursing at Maristhill. Sr. Mary Leo introduced me to her and said "Sister will show you what you need to know". That began a forty year friendship with Sister Hermine. Sister oriented me to the care of the elderly and infirm. Her words "when you look at these people see your grandmother and grandfather and treat them like you would want yours taking care of". Words I have passed on the numerous students of nursing over the years. I owe Sister Hermine so much and have always considered her my first mentor in my profession. I pray she now enjoys the company of the angels as she rests from a lifetime of giving to others and serving as an example of Christ's love for each and every one of us. Rest in peace Sister Hermine.
