Obituary for Flower Ramona Nazzaro (Botti)

Of Littleton, formerly of Waltham, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 89.

Born in Watertown to the late Ernest and Lucy (Carnacelli) Botti, she was raised in Watertown and Newton.

Flower was a strong independent woman who worked for Brandeis University for over 25 years at The national headquarters in Waltham for the National Woman's Committee, they were known as the largest "friends of the library" in the world, raising funds. support and growth for the Brandeis libraries.

Flower is survived by her loving children Teresa Nazzaro of Maynard, Ernie Nazzaro and his wife Peggy of Littleton, her sisters Ernestine Lupo of Wellesley and Olga Munaffo and her husband Joe of Newton her grandson Michael Malloy of Gardner, and her cherished great grandson Collin Malloy. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Francis and Jane Botti of Concord, and many nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Flower's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
