Obituary for Richard A Clifford

Of Arlington formerly of Waltham, passed away Saturday morning, April 23, 2016 at his home. He was 56 years old.

Richard was born and raised in Waltham and Maynard to the late Veronica A. (Harney) Clifford and Jeremiah Joseph Clifford, Jr.. He moved to Arlington 25 years ago.

Richie lived at the Walnut Street Center residence in Arlington and loved his house mates and caregivers. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, completing puzzles, taking car rides, being outdoors and loved the holidays. He will be remembered as a beloved member of his family and a very kind and loving person.

He is survived by his devoted sisters Kathleen DeTeso and her husband Robert of Waltham and Naples, Florida, Linda Clifford of Westford, his brother Jeremiah Clifford, III and his wife Wanda (Gagnon) of Fitchburg, his cherished nephews Jeremiah Clifford, IV of Fitchburg, Daniel Patrick Clifford of Fitchburg, and Christopher Chambers of Westford along with his great niece Lanahlee Marie Clifford, He is also survived by his loving aunts Lorraine Chute and Hazel Byrnes of Marlborough, MA and several cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in Celebration of Richie's life at Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall St., Waltham on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at the V.A. National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
