Of Marlborough, formerly of Waltham & Watertown passed away peacefully Thursday April 21st, 2016 with her loving family by her side at Metro - West Medical Center in Framingham at the age of 81.
Born on December 24, 1934 in Waltham; daughter of the late Raymond McIntyre and Mary (Lappin) McIntyre, Esther was raised in Watertown and lived for many years in Waltham before moving to Marlborough 17 years ago.
A graduate of Rosary Academy in Watertown, Esther was employed as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO of Sylvania Corporation and GTE Tech School. In addition she was employed with Private Health Care Systems where she was a Claims Specialist.
Her family and friends were most important in her life especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening and taking care of her flowers.
Esther is survived by her loving & devoted children Lynne Cercone and her husband Marc of Framingham and Russell Folsom of Marlborough, her cherished grandchildren Jennifer Engle and her husband Isaac Engle of Woodsville, NH, Emily and Lindsay Cercone both of Framingham, and Justin Kaupelis of Ohio, her adoring great grandchildren Isabelle, Jack and Hadley Engle all of Woodsville, NH and her dear sister Elaine Pantos and her husband William of Moultenborough, NH.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Esther’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday morning April 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Monday April 25th from 3 - 7 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
