Of Waltham, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening February 6th, 2016 in Dana Farber Cancer Institute after a long and courageous battle against Leukemia at the age of 34.
Born on March 5, 1981 in Waltham; loving & devoted daughter of Nicholas “Nick” Martorilli Sr and Debra “Debbie” (Maxwell) Martorilli of Waltham, Serena was a lifelong resident of Waltham.
Serena attended Waltham High School and was employed as a Secretary for most of her life. She lived and loved life to the fullest. She had passion for fashion, shopping & decorating.
In addition to her parents Serena is survived by her dear brothers Nick Jr. and his girlfriend Sandra Farrell, Mario and Danny, her adoring nieces Kailyn and Rachel Martorilli, her cherished grandmother Luigina Martorilli, her best friend and boyfriend Jason Madden, her respected uncle John “Chugga” Ciaramaglia and his wife Louann, longtime friend auntie Linda DaCorta and uncle Carmine Martorilli, and numerous cousins and close friends.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Serena’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday Feb. 11th at 7:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
