Of Belmont, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning February 7th, 2016 at the Meadow Green Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waltham at the age of 97.

Born on August 22, 1918 in Marion, Illinois; loving & devoted daughter of the late Fiorentino Terrasi and Vincenza (Nardone) Terrasi, Domenica was raised in Waltham and has been a Belmont resident for the past 60 years.

Domenica was aloving & devoted Homemaker to her family throughout her life and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Ruggeri.

She is survived by her devoted & loving daughter Judith A. “Judy” Gelfusa and her husband Renato of Waltham, her cherished grandchildren Alena Hoar and her husband Sean, Adam Gelfusa and her adored great granddaughter Bella. In addition she is survived by her many dear nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Domenica’s Life in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Saturday morning Feb. 13th at 11:00 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
