Of Brookline passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Care One at Brookline Nursing Center. She was 68.

Ms. Horowitz was born and raised in Brookline to the late Fred and Pauline (Brothers) Torstensen, she was a lifelong resident of Brookline.

Ms. Horowitz volunteered her time with many different organizations but mostly with the Brookline Senior Center. She will be remembered as a loving, caring and generous person by her many friends.

She is survived by her cherished son Paulie of Waltham, her a loving teacher and friend Harriet Sutfin of Brookline, her wonderfully dedicated spokesperson Cecilia Medeiros, her special friend Steven, and loving cousins Donna Ryder and Vera Lowrance. She became special to those that knew her and will be missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Paula's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday, February 1, 2016 at 2 p.m.
