Of Waltham, entered eternal rest & peace Monday November 16th, 2015 at the age of 51.

Born on September 17, 1964 in Lynn; daughter of the late Sophia Jackiewiecz, Christine was raised in Lynn and has been a Waltham resident for the past 30 years.

A graduate of Lynn English High School, Christine was employed in the Healthcare industry throughout her life.

Christine had a love of the ocean. She enjoyed boating, sailing and had a passion for going to the beach. Most of all she enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family.

Christine is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years Massachusetts State Police Lieutenant Joseph J. Borgomastro, her devoted & loving children Stephanie Deveney and her husband Ryan of Hudson, Michael R. Borgomastro of Waltham, Anthony “Tony” Borgomastro of Waltham and Samantha L. Borgomastro and her fiancé Donny Hire of Waltham, her cherished grand babies Gianna, Jackson, and Ryan Deveney, and Mason Hire, her dear mother-in-law Carmela (Mola) Borgomastro and her siblings David Jackiewiecz and Dawn Jackiewiecz both of Lynn. In addition she is survived by several, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews and close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services from the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday Nov. 24th at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Christine’s Life at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Rd, Waltham at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Monday Nov. 23rd from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
