Obituary for Francis X. "Frank " Hill

Of Waltham, Massachusetts & Rancho Santa Margarita, California, passed away Sunday evening September 27th, 2015 with his loving family by his side at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston at the age of 51.

Born on December 11, 1963 in Brighton; beloved son of Anna E. (Mancini) Hill of Waltham and the late Daniel P. Hill, Frank was raised in Waltham and moved to California over 25 years ago. For years he would return to Massachusetts to spend time with his family at the summer home in Marston Mills on Cape Cod.

A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1981, Frank furthered his education at MassBay Community College graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality.

His true passion in the life was being an incredible dad to his son Keegan. He loved being with him and being his football coach.

Frank was a sports fanatic. He was an Offensive Lineman on the varsity Waltham High School Football team. Although he lived in California his true allegiance was to all New England sports teams especially the New England Patriot’s. Most recently he got a dog and named him “Gronk”.

He lived life to the fullest in such a short period of time. He always put others first. He was a big teddy bear with a huge heart, who loved to make people laugh and smile.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving son Keegan Francis Hill of Mission Viejo, California, his devoted siblings Catherine Hill of Waltham, Michael Hill and his wife Lisa of Tewksbury, Daniel Hill of Costa Mesa, California, and Kenneth Hill and his loving companion Martha of Huntington Beach, California, his cherished nieces and nephews, Timothy, Stephen, Bryan, James, Theresa, Jason and MaKenna, and adoring great nieces & nephew Gianni, Tristen and Natalie. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service from the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday morning Oct. 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held private for the family at Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham at a later date. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial on Thursday Oct. 1st from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
