Of Waltham, passed away peacefully early Monday morning June 20th, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 75.
Born on March 18, 1940 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan Centeno and Juana Alamo, Luz was raised and lived most of her life in Puerto Rico before moving to Waltham over 5 years ago.
Family was the most important aspect of her life. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her loving children Julio Concepcion of Framingham, Luz Concepcion and Wanda Concepcion both of Waltham, Onix Concepcion of Framingham, and Camen Concepcion of Hudson, and her dear siblings William Centeno Alamo, Carlos Centeno Alamo and Gloria Centeno Alamo all of Puerto Rico. In addition she is survived by many grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Luz's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday morning July 2nd at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco &Sons prior to the Funeral Service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
