Of Kenneth City, Florida and Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away early Saturday June 20th, 2015 at the Northside Hospital in Tampa after a lifelong battle and constant struggle with an addiction to drugs and alcohol at the age of 63.

Born on February 20, 1952 in Chelsea; son of the late Joseph M. Duffy and Barbara (Smith) Duffy, Bobby was raised in Waltham and lived most of his life before moving to Florida 4 years ago.

Bobby was a self-employed contractor throughout his life. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family and had a passion for cooking.

He is survived by his devoted siblings Barbara Berry of Center Ossipee, NH, Diane Nutile of Easton, Thomas Duffy and his wife Lauramae of Easton, and John Duffy and his wife Mary Jane of Bedford, his grandchildren P.J. and Haley Duffy, and his loving lifelong companion Sandy Riggs. In addition he is survived by many cherished nieces & nephews.

Father of the late Kimberley J. Duffy, grandfather of the late Meghan Duffy and brother of the late Joseph, Michael, William, James and JoAnn Duffy.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Robert’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Sunday morning June 28th at 11:30 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
