Obituary for Margaret Dorothy Flagg

Most recently of Putnam Farm Danvers, MA passed peacefully from this life to the eternal on April 17, 2015, at home surrounded by her close family members.

Dorothy was 90 years old. Born, raised, and residing in Newton, MA for most of her life, Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Feeley, and sister of the late John R. Feeley Jr., “Sonny”. She was the devoted wife to the late John J. Flagg of Newton and the loving mother of Joan Flagg Brown of Danvers, MA and the late Bonnie Flagg MacInnis of Framingham, MA.

Dorothy was a lover of travel and art. She and Johnny spent the winters in the Dominican Republic. It was there she met her adopted family, the LeMoustre family. One of the most special talents she had was creating art from the shells she collected from around the world. She also enjoyed oil painting, playing backgammon, and speaking Spanish. There is special appreciation from Dorothy’s family to the dedicated staff at Putnam Farm. They were yet another family to her.

She truly will be missed by her daughter, grandchildren, great grand-children, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends. Each will hold a special place in their heart for Dorothy that will remain alive forever.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Dorothy's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning April 25th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Parking attendants on duty.
