Surrounded by his loving family, Victor passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2015 at the age of 84. Victor was the son of the late Lefcothea and Naum Loukas of Belmont. He was the cherished husband for 48 years of Maureen (Aherne) of Belmont. He was the loving father of Victor Jr. of Watertown, Elisabeth and her husband Mark Kohler of Watertown and Michael of San Francisco, California. He was the proud and devoted grandfather of Brittani and Mikaela Loukas of Belmont. Born and raised in the South End, Victor was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston University and Boston State College. Victor touched countless lives in his 38 years as a high school history teacher. He was loved by family and friends the world over who remember him as a wise, compassionate, and gentle man.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 4-8 pm. at the Brasco Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA 02478. A visiting hour will also be held from 10-11 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m. funeral at Saint George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral in South Boston. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain (Boston, MA).
