Obituary for James M. "Jimmy" Geagan Jr.

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 25, 2015 in Newton – Wellesley Hospital at the age of 32.

Born on September 24, 1982 in Boston; beloved son of Margaret (Darling) Geagan Waltham and the late James M. Geagan Sr., Jimmy lived for a short period of time in Weymouth before moving to Waltham where he lived most of his life.

Jimmy attended Waltham High School, he had a passion for cooking and been working as a cook at Tempo Bistro Restaurant on Moody Street in Waltham.

He was an avid and diehard Boston sports fan following all the local teams.

In addition to his mom Jimmy is survived by his loving & devoted wife Jamie (Babcock) Geagan, his dear sister Kimberly “Kim” Bragdon and her husband Shawn of Lynn, his cherished twin nieces Abigail and Maya, many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of James Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Monday afternoon March 30th at 1:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
