Of Belmont, passed away early Monday morning, February 23, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.
Born in Cambridge and raised in Belmont to the late James and Mary A. (Cunningham) Henry, she was a lifelong resident of Belmont and a graduate of Belmont High School.
Mrs. Anderson worked at the Butler Elementary School in Belmont as a lunch aide for over 30 years.
In her spare time Marcia enjoyed participating in her bowling league at Lanes and Games in Cambridge, listening to Elvis, and cooking. She also loved her cats.
She was the beloved wife of 46 years of the late Carl F. Anderson, Sr., and sister-in-law of the late John Little.
She is survived by her loving children Carl F. Anderson, Jr. and his wife Karen (Kenney) of Arlington, Christopher Anderson and his wife Wendy (Heckel) of Natick, and James Anderson and his wife Beau (Perry) of Belmont, her sisters Margaret Little of Watertown, Maureen Henry of Natick Michele Dragone and her husband Richard of Waltham, her brother James Henry and his wife Nancy of Waltham, and her cherished grandchildren Matthew, Kathryn, C.J., and Chase. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Thursday at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Marcia's life at St. Luke's Church, 132 Lexington St. Belmont at 9 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
