Of Newton, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday morning, December 10, 2014 at the Life Care Center of the North Shore in Lynn. He was 72.
Born and raised in West Newton to the late Lawrence Carmen DeLuca, Sr. and Theresa M. (Yerardi), he was a lifelong resident of Newton.
Lawrence was a graduate of Newton High School and worked for the City of Newton Forestry Department for many years.
Mr. DeLuca loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, he loved music and animals.
He is survived by his loving sisters Elizabeth Bradley and her husband Charles of Winthrop, Marilyn Deluca Prisio and her husband Angelo of Revere, Lorraine DeLuca and her husband Thomas Kavanagh of Revere, and Carol Wilson and her husband James of New Jersey. He is also survived by 22 beloved and cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Monday, December 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Bernard's Church, 1529 Washington St., West Newton at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
