Francis Borromeo "Frank"  Hogan
Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 9th, 2014 in Newton – Wellesley Hospital at the age of 56.

Born on January 29, 1958 in Somerville; beloved son of the late Charles G. Hogan Sr. and Patricia (MacDonald) Hogan, Frank was raised in Rockland and has been a resident of Waltham for the past 42 years.

A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1976, Frank furthered his education at North Adams State College with a Bachelor’s degree in English.

He was employed as a Salesman for the Father & Son Moving Corporation for over 25 years.

Frank was a longtime member and served as Past Exhaulted Ruler for the Lexington Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge #2204 and was a member of the Waltham Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge #953. He was always looking to assist in any and all charitable endeavors for the lodge.

In his spare time he enjoyed singing Kareokee but was an avid sports fan, a season ticket holder and diehard New England Patriot’s Fan. He always had a smile to share with everyone he met.

He is survived by his loving siblings Margaret Harding of South Yarmouth, Charles G. Hogan Jr. and his wife Eileen of Waltham, Harold Hogan and his wife Christine of Waltham, Matthew Hogan and his wife Rosemarie of Newton, and his longtime and dear friend Kerry Hachey of Acton. In addition he is survived by 6 cherished nieces, 6 nephews, his adored godchild Colleen Hogan and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Franks’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St, WALTHAM on Saturday morning Sept. 13th at10:00 a.m. Committal Services will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Chapel on Friday evening Sept. 12th from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants on duty.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the United Cerebral Palsy of Metro Boston, 71 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472, www.ucpboston.org.
