Of Waltham, passed away Saturday evening September 6th, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness at the age of 75.
Born on August 11, 1939 in Brighton; daughter of the late Peter and Anastasia (Cormier) LeBlanc, Claire was raised and lived for most of her life in Waltham.
A graduate of Saint Mary’s High School with the Class of 1958, Claire worked for several years at the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham.
She was an active and devoted member of the former Saint Joseph’s Parish Community in Waltham and had been a longtime member of the Women’s Guild at Saint Joseph’s Church.
Claire was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother throughout her life. She loved spending time with family and friends especially traveling with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and her occasional trips to Foxwoods.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Normand J. Dallaire, her loving & devoted children Andrea Cristofori and her husband Mark, David J. Dallaire, and Aimee J. Ptak all of Waltham, her cherished grandchildren Corey Dallaire, Ashley, Mark A. Luke R. and Nina Rose Cristofori and great grandson Nathan Dallaire, and her dear sister Yvonne Guerin of Waltham In addition she is survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Claire’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Wednesday Sept. 10th morning at 11:00 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday Sept. 9th from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Claire’s memory to the Palliative Care Hospice of MGH, 55 Fruit St, Boston, MA 02114.
