Condolences

Condolence From: Nicholas A. Sturgeon
Condolence: Cheers to the great, Bill White. There is no small way of describing how amazing he was, is, and will always be. A personality which demanded respect through his abundance of kindness. Growing up around him, I feel like I can say that one of his best qualities, maybe my favorite, is his ability to teach. Bill was handy, well actually pretty darn well near professional grade, at any task. Whether it be a car that needs some TLC (or an entire build/rebuild), or a boat that is dead in the water. Having girl problems or struggling with family matters. Bill had the fix. But he wouldn't just hand it to you, nor would he make it impossible to acquire. He walked you through the steps to solving the problem, guiding you through the process by coaching you with some distance to allow you to gain the experience needed to not only solve your problem but to retain the skills for later use in life.. His way of teaching was amazing, I learned so much from this man. He meant the world to me, I only wish I could have been back home to celebrate his life with his amazing family. I am better for having known you, Bill White. Thank you for everything. Thank you for every little thing. I would not be who i am today without your help. Everyday there is something out there that reminds me of you. Rest in peace, you deserve it.

Condolence From: Bill McCarthy
Condolence: Dear Carol and Family,

I want to extend my condolences and prayers for your loss of your loving husband and dedicated father-Bill.

When I lived on Riverview Ave across from the White's home. I always enjoyed my casual conversations I had with Bill. I was impressed with Bill's extended knowledge of various subjects and his ability to repair and refinish auto's. He was also talented/successful business man. I always saw Bill working around his property or on his house.
I will miss Bill White and Waltham has lost a very special man.
Rest in peace.

A poem by Henry Scott Holland

"Death is Nothing at All"

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.

All is well.

Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with Christ.
